ABOUT THE ARTIST

I work in my studio nestled in the Sangre de Christo mountains in northern New Mexico, creating hand fabricated jewelry from sterling silver, high-karat gold, gemstones and pearls. Inspiration comes from patterns in nature or from following a contemporary twist on art forms of ancient cultures.

I fell in love with metalworking just out of high school, and have pursued the craft and art of expressing my vision through metal over the years, studying at Tyler School of Art, Revere Academy and with other talented and forthcoming souls.

Over the years, I find certain themes recurring in my work - the rhythmic arrangement of elements, repetition of similar forms or colors and the contrast of different textures.

I am endlessly fascinated by the variety of surface treatments that can be created on metal and the color and shape of gemstones.
